Common questions for agriculture operators
Plain-English answers on getting real insight from your agriculture data — benchmarked against official Australian sources.
What is an AI BI tool and how is it different from traditional BI?
An AI BI tool is a business intelligence platform that uses artificial intelligence to interpret data automatically — explaining trends in plain English, forecasting outcomes, and recommending actions — instead of only displaying charts for a human to interpret. Corvana is an AI-native example: its analyst, Cory, monitors the business 24/7/365 and proactively flags risks and opportunities.

Multi-location businesses compare performance by consolidating every site into a single dashboard with normalised metrics — sales, labour cost, margin and growth — and drill-down to each location. Corvana does this in real time, ranks sites against each other and against ABS benchmarks, and uses AI to flag the locations that need attention.

No. Corvana does not allow your business data to be used to train AI models. Two protections combine: first, the AI Data Firewall masks confidential data (business names, ABNs, financials, customer details) before any request reaches an external model; second, the underlying AI models are accessed under enterprise/API terms where customer inputs are not used to train the provider's models. Your data stays yours, stays masked, and stays in Australia.
